Seeds germinate differently. A seedling heat mat provides warm soil for plants that germinate at specific warm temperatures and times indoors. Plants such as peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, melons, woody herbs and perennial flowers grow better this way. For some seeds, such as B. strawberries, however, the germination rate is very different. Half of the seedlings can germinate earlier and the other half later. This seedling mat heats at a temperature of 1°C above the greenhouse temperature to increase the chances of even and successful germination.
