The oval hole allows you to easily press into the ground meat to form a perfectly round patty, while the shallow bowl ensures an appropriate portion size .
Then you scoop the meatball out of the oval hole with another spoon instead of your hand so that it retains its round shape.

ERGONOMIC SPOON

This meatball spoon has a sharpened curved and long handle to make it easier for you to press it into the minced meat in a tall, deep bowl. It's also the right length for stirring and scraping meat, so it can be a pretty versatile spoon .
